Flimsy, but useful

The build quality on these is not the best, but the price is right and the set is very compact and convent for travel. The major downside is the British Adapter is especially flimsy. The back cover of mine broke off while riding the train. When I reached down to plug my phone charger back in, I ended up giving myself an electric shockâ€”the bare copper connection was exposed. 240V isn't the most fun feeling in the world. It ended up being impossible for me to safely remove and I had to inform the train staff.

Non polarized to polarized...finally

Finally. An adapter that plugs into Christmas light strings! The male end is NON POLARIZED and both blades are same size. The other side is polarized AND has two places to plug in. Three pack and good quality

Bought this for our recent trip through Europe (Netherlands, Germany and France).On our first night in Amsterdam, I plugged adapter #1 of these into the bathroom outlet and plugged our toothbrush in to charge. No problems there.I took another one into the bedroom and plugged it into the outlet there. Nothing was plugged into it - - - I just plugged this #2 adapter into the wall outlet.The room went dark and the tv went off.I phoned down to the front desk and they reset the breaker. I plugged it in again, and it did the same. The front desk reset the breaker again.This next time, I used adapter #3. I plugged it in, and all was fine.I tossed adapter #2 into the trash.Two out of three of these worked fine. One tripped the breaker twice.I know nothing about electronics or wiring so I have no guesses as to why this happened. All I know is that it was safer and easier just to throw the faulty one in the trash, than it was to try to figure it all out.I guess if I'd paid more for this 3 pack, I would have been more upset. I was glad however, that I hadn't counted on using all 3 of them.Be forewarned that reliability may not be consistent for all adapters you receive. The ones that do work however, work well.
