Question:Can i use this on a bed headboard please ?
Answer:I personally think it would be too strong. What is the bed made of? You could dilute in hot water, using a little of the product and see how it goes. I would be wary of spraying it directly onto a soft wood or fabric. I would dilute first and do it in stages. I have an iron bedstead but have never used it on it.
Question:Are these either bs en 1276 or bs en 13697 products as recommended by the food safety authority?
Answer:Good afternoon, Please be informed that this product is not qualified by the food safety authority.
Question:Can this be used on gloss cabinets?
Answer:I've just used it on my cabinet doors which aren't gloss but have a bit of a sheen. The results are varied. Used with just a microfibre cloth and buffed dry it worked well, but I used a green scourer for the greasiest door over the hob and the sheen has been dulled. It now looks patchy, like waxed furniture.
Question:Can I use it to clean hobs cast iron grates?
Answer:We would suggest you HG Oven, Grill and Barbecue Cleaner for the cast iron grates
Question:Can this be used on encaustic (cement) tiles?
Answer:You can certainly use it on ceramic tiles, so guess depends if the cement ones are porous maybe? Can say it works a treat on typical kitchen materials - tiles, ceramic hobs, cupboards etc.
Question:I sprayed onto sponge for stainless steel oven hob top but it was awful. Is it safe to spray on SS directly & leave 10mins b4 sponging off w/water?
Answer:I read the label upon receipt of the product. As directed I spray on the affected area, which was my cooker hood. I unplugged it and cover the electrical parts before spraying and leaving it for the required time. Then wiped it off with soapy water, then used a dry cloth to dry and buff it off.
Question:I have a granite splash-back - can I use this on it?
Answer:Of course you can, as long as your splash back is 'greasy'. HG is amazing at cleaning up stubborn grease, although I'm bound to admit I also use 'Flash bleach' foam just to make sure. So I hope this reply helps.
